Day 1 Arrival Dhaka
Arrival Dhaka and transfer to Hotel.Dhaka, the Capital of Bangladesh, founded in 1608 has an exciting history and
rich cultural heritage. It is intersected by the rivers Buriganga. The total area of the city is approximately 1400 sq. km., with a population of 15 million. It was adorned with the glory of being the capital of the region when it was successively under the Mughal and the British rules. Dhaka is a chaotic city full of people and endless rows of rickshaws, cars, taxis, motorbikes, bicycles, street vendors etc etc. The 'rickshaw capital of the world' will take care of many jams; I also particularly patience and be amazed about how everyone finds its way. You visit the Lalbagh Fort, a 17th century Moghul palace that day is an oasis of tranquility in the city today. Especially popular as a meeting place of the local youth. At Sadarghat you see the boats and sail to bring people and goods to the other side of the river. If time allows, you will visit the Star Mosque and the Hindu Temple Dhakeswari.

Day 2 Dhaka - Tangail
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to the Central train station and takte the short train ride (02:30hrs) to Tangail. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by a traditional TukTuk. You'll go to a very remote village in Tangail to explore the village life, some heritage and cultural sites. You'll visit the famous Tangail weaving work, a pottery village, local markets and have some tea with local people. You can visit the most ornamented Atia Moque (1610 AD), one of the fewest mosques with typical terracotta art. In the evening, you'll be transferred to your hotel and enjoy the Bengali organic food.Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 Tangail - Rajshahi
In the morning you'll be transferred to the railway station and take the train to the Silk city Rajshahi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.Rajshahi is a major silk production center on the border with India. Of course there is the possibility to see a silk factory and the process of caterpillar to side view close. You'll will also visit the impressive baredra research museum. In the evening you can stroll along the Padma river.

Day 4 Rajshahi - Puthia - Rajshahi
After breakfast, you'll drive you the beautiful temple city of Puthia. Between the green and along the shores of several lakes / ponds are water here several Hindu palaces from the 16th century by the Raja of Puthia. The palaces are again built in terracotta and beautiful contrast with the green surroundings. Many decorations and in the buildings; in Bhubaneshwar Shiva temple is the largest lingam of the country. This is the most remarkable structure of this beautiful town palace. Especially here that one of the sites only share with the colorful people who cheerfully inquisitive or playing (children) watch.After the temple city of Puthia, we drive to the Santhal villages. You can enjoy small cultural events and visit some educational activities in the village. In the afternoon, you'll drive back to Rajshahi and visit the silk factory.

Day 5 Rajshahi - Khulna
Today you take the train from Rajshahi to Khulna, a nice ride on the countryside of Bangladesh.Upon arrival in Khulna, you will visit the Port City including local markets. After exploring the city, you can sit down and enjoy the sunset near Rupsha Gat area. There is also a night market in the Boro bazaar that you can visit.

Day 6 Khulna - Sundarbans
After breakfast, drive to Mongla to board on a Sundarbans motor boat for a day trip through the Sundarbans Mangrove forest. The Sundarbans mangrove forest (world’s largest mangrove forest) comprises of 10,000 sq-km of which 6000 sq. km. is in Bangladesh. The area is divided into 55-forest compartment. Each has a land area of 40 to 160 sq. km. and divided into several islands. The area is famous for its semi- aquatic tigers, greatly known as the Royal Bengal Tiger. As per last census around 500 tigers has found in this forest. It has fair amount of spotted deer, wild boar, rhesus monkey, salt-water crocodile, water monitor lizard, pythons etc. The forest treasures 330 plant species, 35 species of reptiles 400 types of fishes, 270 species of birds and 42 species of mammals. UNESCO has declared Sundarbans as world heritage site in 1997 and different protection matter of the forest is under active consideration. There are three wildlife sanctuary areas in Sundarbans forest respectively “Kotka-Kochikhaki”, “Hironpiont” & “Manderbaria”.Along the way you can get off a few times to make short walks
In the afternoon, you'll disembark into a interesting Sundarbans Eco Cottage inside a fisherman's village. The cottage is made in a traditional format with bamboo en wood.

Day 7 Sundarbans - Bagerhat - Dhaka
In the morning, have a transfer to Mongla. Here is a car waiting for you to drive to Hularbat. On the way, you will Bagerhat, the mosque-city of the country. This town protected by Unesco has several specific mosques of the Middle Ages. The most unusual and most beautiful is the so-called '60 - domed mosque '; Shai this Gumbad mosque has 77 domes and actually looks like a fortified fortress. You will visit the mausoleum of Khan Jahan evenens Ali and several other 15th century mosques such as the 9-koepelige mosque and smaller mosques with one dome. The mosques are located in a beautiful rural setting and because there are many pilgrims there is always something to do.Take the paddle boat from Bagerhat to Dhaka. You can enjoy the river life and cruise through the world's largest river delta in the world.

Day 9 Departure Dhaka
